This video is good, because it shows you all parts of the world including China and oil. Will can relate this to our project in different ways 1. our topic is on Recycling so it fits perfect, 2. This shows you the advantages of recycling, 3. It shows you what could happen if we don't recycle, 4. This shows you the disadvantages of it to, so I think this is a great video to show recycling in a nutshell.

Huckleberry Finn reviw

" You don't know about me without you read adventures of Tom Sawyer, but that aint no matter'. Wow! I don't know what to say about this book it was not fabulous, nor was it really bad. I think this book was average. The 3 reasons why I think that are the connection between Huck and his Father, language, and the slavery in the story.  The language was freighting, but It explained what was going on in that time, I think the connection between Huck and his father was great because they showed the real stuff that was going on then, and lastly I picked slavery in the story because that was one of the main things going on in the story.

First, just when Huck is learning to read and stuff, and go to school his father shows up and makes an ass out of himself by yelling at his son, tying to stop him from going to school, and beats him. Huck's Pap who in my mind is a retard won't stand for his son trying to be better than him. While Huck likes being out in the country he isn't real cool about the beatings his father gives him. But he really doesn't want to go back to living with the Widow Douglas and Miss Watson, either. So Huck does what anyone would do he kills a pig and uses the blood to help fake his own death. Why, I did the same thing to get out of gym class. Who the hell wants to play Soccer?

Second, I liked the language. I liked the language because it was real and that was the way they talked back then and I loved how the author made it seem like you were really there. I also liked the language because it was showing the 1850’s. In that time period there were slaves and slave catches and all that, so I liked the language because it was really true and 100 percent how they acted and spoke.

Finally, I picked slavery because they really showed how it really was and what African Americans went through. In the story they used the word n***** a lot but in one chapter, chapter 2 they used many times here is a quote from the story, “N****** would come miles to hear Jim tell about it and he was more look up to then a n***** in that country”. I think that this is a good example because they are using Jim as a leader of his people because people came to him and asked him for help, and they needed someone like Jim to do that.

To wrap things up, this was a good story and it explains how it was in the 1850’s and how it was back there your glad that you did not live during that time period if you were black. I thought this book was good for three reasons, the connection between Huck and his father, the language, and the slavery in the story. Huck Finn stood up for something against society that if someone found out he could get in a lot of trouble, have you ever stood up for something that you believed in to go against society?

Beyond the Line essay " The Adventure Of Huckleberry Finn"

Q: How would you feel if your father was like Pap

A: Wow that's easy " It don't make no difference what you want  just shell it out." I wouldn't want that to be my dad if I had a father was like Pap I would feel three ways. Mad, because he's crazy, sad, because he is being mean, and confused, because I would not know why he was doing it to me.

First I would feel mad. I would feel mad because this dude is crazy, sitting there yelling at me, and I would not appreciate that. I would yell back and things would get worse. Now in my life shore  my dad yells at me, but he yells to help me and when I do, do something wrong and he corrects me that teaches me the rite thing.

Second I would feel sad. I would feel sad because he is being mean, and by being mean that could hurt your son emotionally and physically. I think that Pap is a weirdo and he doesn't deserve a son. And that's why I think that Huck's running away wouldn't you?

Lastly I would feel confused. I would feel confused because I would wonder why he was doing this to me, because if I am your son you should love me and guide me in the right direction. Pap was yelling at Huck for doing the right things, going to school, and reading. If my father was like that I would probably be stupid, and not get the rite education. So I am glad that my dad isn't Pap.

To wrap things up 3 ways that I would feel if my dad was like pap are MAD, SAD, and CONFUSED. I hope that I will never have to go though what Huck went through in my life. I have caring parents and they love me, support me in whatever I do. Now how would you feel if your dad was like Pap
